Rabbi Hannah Wallick

Rabbi Hannah Wallick has served as the spiritual leader of the Moses Montefiore Congregation since March of 2020. Throughout her career, Rabbi Hannah has worked on creating a more inclusive Jewish community towards interfaith families, LGBTQ, Jews of color, and anyone who has felt marginalized in Jewish life.

Rabbi Hannah started her work at Big Tent Judaism and worked with a wide variety of families on education and life cycle events throughout rabbinical school. She served 13 congregations in the NY metropolitan area developing plans to create a more inclusive environment and draw in more people to their communities. Always working in non-traditional congregations, Rabbi Hannah served a rural congregation in Southern Maryland with congregants ranging from Orthodox to atheist, an urban congregation in Tribeca, Manhattan that grew around two robust Jewish schools, and most recently, a growing congregation of young adults in Long Island City, Queens.

She has rabbinic ordination and a Masters in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary and a BA in Jewish Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. When she is not in Appleton, Rabbi Hannah is a Vice President of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. Wherever you find yourself on your Jewish journey, we welcome you to connect with us. We strive to work collaboratively on a wide array of programs and educational opportunities and look forward to meeting you!
